Max skills as follow.
Iron Claws/Fire Claws/Charged Claws*/Cow Balloon
The rest of my skill points went into Oak Sage.
Conviction Aura is a staffmod from my helmet*

Hail of Bolts was easily the weapon of choice for this druid. The low level requirement and super fast speed made Aku extremely fast with his claw swipes.

There are 6 Sescheronya's Spark jewels throughout Aku's equipment and charms, the Rings + Amulet are where 3 went. The Beast Loop rare ring is a very important item to this build seeing as Lightning Mastery added at least 30k more damage.

Gloves + Boots + Belt are all the same. Zeus had nice gifts for Aku. To shield his heart of ice for all eternity.

Off hand are Saiyajin and Tortured Souls to increase the swiftness I could move through the battle field.

Also Iron Thimble/Ring of Vengeance/Beads of Guardian
Herculean Grip gloves. Girdle of Giant Strength. Rare boots with CTC level 25 Shiver armor for defense.

  • I agree that Daishi should not be insulting ppl for their preferences. However, being one of the first people to try out this build, I would like to say that I have tried every weapon listed by the previous posts and many more. Although other weapons do allow for more damage, Hail of Bolts lets you attack and kill faster than any other weapon (plus its great to be attacking as fast as fury with CBs coming out of every attach :P). As for raising energy rather than vitality, I personally like to be able to tank every mob in the game and not have to run around too much. With already 100k+ dmg, I think there is no need to sacrifice HP for more dmg. On the other hand, if there was space to add tele to this character then I would definitely recommend raising energy. Obviously the effectiveness of this build (just like any other build) depends on whether you are playing SP or online and the amount of resources you have at your disposal. From what I can see, this build potentially has many variations depending on your play style and Daishi did do a great job of putting this one together. -- FFX? 12-16-2008 (Tue) 06:49:17
  • I don't see anyone here bashing your character Daishi, rather commenting on gear they feel different about. Why do you have to be so aggressive and even insult people? One thing i've learned through my short life is that the only way to stop going forward is to stop questioning your choices. Let people comment and maybe YOU should be the one testing stuff out? You could be suprised. I feel safe to say that I know A LOT about Bowazons and Plasma barbs but I would never dismiss a question or advice just because i've played them alot. Just my 2cents. -- Grimwyr? 11-22-2008 (Sat) 11:02:00
  • lets say then, my char has a far higher potential for physical damage (also more than twice of your average physical damage already) which means a lot more lifeleech. His equip is far from complete, he still lacks a lot of charms, lightning mastery and 6 sockets. The gear isnt completely dstoned either. -- goeido 10-03-2008 (Fri) 05:48:30
  • I believe Goeido's character is missing Lightning Mastery. I think when he has it his damage will be higher. -- Hans? 10-03-2008 (Fri) 04:33:20
  • Far my physical damage? Your 8k more Physical damage compaired to my 59k more Lightning damage. Your 2 hander vs my 1 hander. I'm sure what your trying to point out here. -- Daishi_GD? 10-03-2008 (Fri) 03:35:54
  • my lightning druid is using LoD infinity, I just dstoned some ias and now he has -85% enemy lightning resistance, can use Fanatism on RMB, and can use a different headgear. He also has far more physical damage. If Id use a shield, Id use Spikewall. I also see you dont have CBF on a melee char... which Id never try. Your ring is nice, though. -- goeido 10-02-2008 (Thu) 06:28:10
  • Actually I tested Hail of Bolts on Werewolf, sure the IAS is more than nice, but thats it then, there nothing else on it. A weapon like Olympian's Javelin would be much better, if you put 2 ias forged ias jewels in there, you easily reach the same ias, still have +2 skills and a way bigger physical damage for leech and LI and as it is an elite weapon you get the same +% Lightning damage for half the Dstones -- Moonie? 10-01-2008 (Wed) 15:03:02
  • You guys should trust me a bit more. I've obvisouly looked at other choice's for weapons for this character, I know my pick is best. I'm not going to repeat myself a ton of times and say TRY IT before condeming it -- Daishi_GD? 09-30-2008 (Tue) 21:48:48
  • Daishi_GD, I agree with Moonie that Hail of Bolts is a strange choice - a quick browse through database found me Gilded Spikes (War Javelin) - +1 all skills, 2 sockets, 50% IAS, other fair mods (CB, DS). Your D-stoning would've been more effective with this weapon, not to mention an extra socket. I think that you could still get a better weapon that Gilded Spikes, though (Thundergod's Anger to free the ring slot?), but still - that's an impressive achievement that you posted here. Well done! -- Audaces? 09-30-2008 (Tue) 21:14:11
  • The weapon isnt about the low level, Its about speed, It takes 105% Attack Speed on a weapon to break the barrier for a Werewolf. You should try to learn how something works before trying to comment. You would be nothing but a noob if you DIDN'T use this weapon or an idiot for not trying. -- Daishi_GD? 09-30-2008 (Tue) 20:34:58
  • 2. I would put more points in energy for more dmg, I dont think 17k life is really needed 3. I dont think your Druid would put my lightning sorc to shame :P -- Moonie? 09-30-2008 (Tue) 14:01:10
  • 1. Your weapon choice is pretty bad, as exp and elite weapons get more % from DStoning, so no advantage in taking a low req weapon, especially if you might decide to maple it a bit, it is horrible -- Moonie? 09-30-2008 (Tue) 13:59:24
  • D2 Maniac's if you want to come check me out! -- Daishi_GD? 09-30-2008 (Tue) 08:10:27
